Happy Holidays, everyone! We love to decorate our little fiber arts store for any occasion, but we think it’s especially cozy at Christmastime.
Sharon is Scandinavian and loves Scandinavian Christmas decor. These darling wall hangings feature and yule goat and Tomtes or Nisses (Christmas elves). Our winter tree was originally intended as a Christmas decoration but now it hangs out year round to frame one of our store front windows. Can you see Sharon’s vintage electric fireplace in there? It’s a Christmas decor staple at The Tin Thimble! Our ski window! Sharon made this sweet snowy village from a Martha Stewart idea and paper.
Sharon decorated this year’s shop tree with a ‘Woodland Forest’ theme. Can you spot the mushrooms, pine cones, bird nests, ferns, and Scandinavian inspired wet felted stockings?
Here are the adorable mushroom mounds that Sharon put together to adorn this year’s tree. We love them!
A close up of the wet felted elf stockings Sharon also made. That Pom Pom at the end is just perfect. We may be a fiber arts store, but we have love a good paper craft as well. Handmade ornaments by Sharon, of course, from vintage Christmas cards and (a lot of) glitter. Beautiful dried hydrangeas can also be found nestled in the tree’s branches.
Come in and see us this Holiday season while our cozy little shop is all decorated!
