Lisa Classon is a resident artist and instructor at The Tin Thimble. She grew up with a very creative family and always felt encouraged to be artistic. Attracted to working with colors and textures, she started felting in 2007 when her family opened The Tin Thimble in Newcastle, CA. She currently works in felting, dyeing, spinning and sewing focusing primarily on nuno felted garments with strong textural surfaces. She enjoys teaching her craft and loves to see her students discover new ways to create surface design.
