PLEASE NOTE: Learning to sew a garment takes some time. If you are brand new to the process here is a rough breakdown of the time it could take:

Pre-Hours 1-2 If you are not familiar with your machine an hour or two with your manual and machine will help a lot. You can do this with instruction here at the shop or just at home by yourself. You will need to know how to thread your machine, wind your bobbin, sew straight and zig-zag stitches, knot your stitches and swap out your feet.

Hours 1-2 Choosing the appropriate size, learning to read the pattern and directions, cutting out the pattern and fabric. (If you are already familiar with this process you can do this part at home so when you come into the shop we can dive right into sewing.)

Hours 3-6 Sewing the garment. (Not all of these hours need to be during instruction in the shop - once you have a good handle of the process we encourage you to work on your garment at home - we're always available to answer questions!)

Hours 7-8 Finishing the garment. Hems, buttonholes, buttons, snaps, zippers.
