Emma Farrell is co-owner of The Tin Thimble. Costumes have been a part of Emma’s life since she was a little girl. Her mother instilled a joy for the imagination and the process behind creating a costume from scratch. A professional swing dance instructor for years, Emma learned the importance of historical accuracy while working side-by-side with WWII veterans and living history organizations to recreate atmospheres from that bygone era. Opening The Tin Thimble with her mom was a natural progression. Driven by a love for creativity and creative people Emma spends most of her time behind the scenes managing the business. She has a bachelor’s degree in creative arts management from William Jessup University and currently resides in Japan with her husband.
