We closed our storefront and classrooms in February of 2020 to downsize and slow down. We had plans of continuing in-person workshops in small get-togethers, but then COVID-19 hit. So, our best-intentioned plans have gone to the wayside, like so many others this year. We are still offering workshops, at our new studio space, on a one-on-one basis in order to keep health and safety a priority. If you would like to schedule a private workshop, please send an email to support@thetinthimble.com with a picture of what you would like to make, and at least FOUR days (weekends and weekdays!) that you are available. We will get back to you with pricing info and to finalize a date.
We are proud to offer classes in nuno felting, wet felting, spinning, indigo dyeing, botanical dyeing, and sewing. Not sure which category you want to learn? Just shoot us an email and we’ll help you figure it out! We’re here to help and happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thanks so much for your continued support and interest!

Dear Tin Thimble Owner/Instructor,
I am friends with Debbie Smith, a retired art teacher, and do many wonderful creative art and event things she
so generously coordinates and let’s us know about!
I am interested in taking a friend of mine to your botanical dyes class for her birthday/
She is very interested in the study of plants and I think this may be the class and present just
for her! I would like to join in as well.
Can you give me more information on what we will be doing in class and how much it would cost
to do a private class together but on a different day than the class date and time you are offering in
February. We would both be at a level one.
Thank you!
Jill Stewart
