This shibori inspired neckwrap was inspired by a scarf Melissa Arnold made years ago and was given to me by my daughter. I wanted to create something that gave the illusion of a shibori dyed piece, while simultaneously incorporating actual shibori. The tieing of little protrusions on this wrap are a great introduction to a simple, but texturally effective shibori method. Plus, they’re fun to create! I made my original scarf in indigo colors to again emulate the true shibori feel. I love mine, wear it all the time, and I know you will too.
