Yay, buttons! Students in this class will learn how to sew buttonholes with and without buttonhole sewing machine feet. Each student will sew multiple buttonholes in multiple sizes in order to get loads of practice. Buttonholes are not scary and this class is a great way to get comfortable with sewing them.
You are welcome to bring a sewing machine if you have one, but it must have been serviced in the last 6 months. We simply don’t have time to deal with mechanical issues. If you don’t have a machine, but you still want to take the class, you are more than welcome to borrow one of ours!
Hannah is the co-owner of The Tin Thimble, has a decade of sewing experience and runs her own sewing website, Palindrome Dry Goods, where she post tutorials and pictures of her handmade wardrobe. Sewing is an absolutely fantastic skill to know and she can’t wait to show you that sewing doesn’t have to be scary or stressful.
This class will be capped at 5 students to ensure that each student receives the proper amount of attention. The small class size means it will fill up quickly, be sure to register as soon as you can!
