We are currently only offering workshops, at our new studio space, on a one-on-one basis in order to keep health and safety a priority. If you would like to schedule a private workshop for this specific class, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with a list of FOUR days (weekends and weekdays!) that you are available. We will get back to you with pricing info and to finalize a date. Create bold, beautiful patterns in this shibori indigo workshop using fold and clamp shibori on both cotton and silk fabrics. Students will use circular and square templates for traditional repeating pattern and will also have the opportunity to create a pattern using clothespins. Topics covered will include history of shibori and indigo, how to make and maintain an indigo vat and Sharon’s favorite books and tools for this beautiful art form. We’re excited to say that the kit for this class will include traditional cotton fabric all the way from Japan! Interested in learning even more? Check out the stitching shibori and indigo workshop too!
