LEVEl 2: Felting with Raw Wool – Pinto Pillow

After our wool mill tour and fleece cleaning workshop, come full circle with wool processing and learn how to felt with raw wool. Students will learn discover the differences between carded and uncarded wool and feel the difference in felting unprocessed wool. If students took the fleece cleaning workshop, they will use the fiber they cleaned in that workshop. If you are not interested in learning how to clean fleece, we will be able to provide you with fibers for this workshop. Students will use a resist to make a 19″ x 19″ ‘pinto’ pillow.

Prerequisites: Any of our level 1 wet felting classes or Pre-requisite: 4-6 hours wet felting experience.
