Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! All of us here at The Tin Thimble hope that the holiday season treated you well. It’s Emma writing today and I have to say, I’m still in shock that 2015 is upon us. It’s already January 5th people! I was only just warming up to the holiday season when Christmas day arrived and now New Years has already come and gone… I’m a bit behind, which tends to be the norm for me once we hit the end of the year. Especially since we entered the world of retail. As a family, and even with the shop, we just can’t jump on that commercialism, materialistic bandwagon that is modern retail. We just can’t bring ourselves to decorate for Christmas before it’s Halloween let alone Thanksgiving. I’m sure that bandwagon would help the shop’s coffers but we enjoy being in the current season and savoring it too much. I whipped the camera out this year and documented the splendor and warmth and joy that is mom and dad’s house at Christmas. I hope these photos help you hold onto that Christmas Spirit even if for just a few more moments!
